Splashes Leisure Pool has a wave machine, a flume, and a toddlers' pool.

Six to 10-year-olds can join the Junior fins club for supervised water-based games and activities.

And on Saturdays, the pool is exclusively available for children's birthday parties from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

For low impact water aerobics, try Splashes' splashacise classes.

There are a variety of swim sessions to suit your needs:

• Everyone can attend the general sessions. These sessions are free for 16-year-olds and younger if accompanied by an adult and also for 60-year-olds and older.
• There are some adult-only sessions for the serious lane-swimmer.
• For some family swimming fun, enjoy the family-only sessions.

During school holidays the swimming timetable may change.

Find out how much it costs to swim per visit. If you swim regularly, you can apply for a cost-saving swimming membership.

Attention: Parents and carers

All children under the age of eight years must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.

Ratios:

• From birth to five there must be one adult to every two children.
• From five to eight years of age there must be one adult to every three children.
• Please note: Family sessions are aimed at families only. An adult must remain in the pool at all times during these sessions. One adult can only accompany up to a maximum of four children.
