Strood Leisure Centre has three pools;
- the main 25-metre, eight-lane pool,
- the warm water teaching pool,
- the hydrotherapy pool.
Please note:
- Last tickets for swimming are sold 40 minutes before end of the session.
- Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- The teaching pool will be closed at certain times during the week for swimming lessons. Please contact the centre for further details.
- The swimming programme is subject to change during the school holidays.
A whole host of activities is available, including general swimming sessions, adults only, fun inflatable sessions and a wide range of swimming lessons.
Children are well-catered for with Club Kaos and Party Gang parties.
The multi-purpose sports hall is marked out with six badminton courts and is the venue for Springer’s trampoline club and martial arts groups.
The centre has a third generation soccer centre, which includes six five-a-side pitches and one seven-a-side pitch, all of which are available to hire.
Relax and have a bite to eat in the friendly bar, where a variety of hot and cold food is available all day.
Strood Leisure Centre specialises in corporate days. Companies can say thank you to their staff or entertain special clients with a full day of activities and pampering. Why not combine the day with a training session and use the fully-equipped meeting room?

Swimming membership
Swim as many times as you like for just £16.95 a month (payable by direct debit) or for free if you are less than 16 or more than 60 years old. Membership is for a minimum period of 12 months and is on an individual basis only.
Swimming lessons for all ages and abilities are available throughout school term time. Please telephone the centre for more information.
