Medway Council does not accept responsibility for any fraudulent use of card details or other personal information as a result of using its online booking systems at public access internet locations. If you are in any doubt about the security of booking online, please book by telephone with the appropriate centre.
Online bookings are available for the Black Lion Leisure Centre, Stirling Centre, Strood Leisure Centre and Deangate Ridge Golf Course.

Black Lion Leisure Centre
The following activities may be booked online:
- badminton,
- squash,
- basketball,
- table tennis,
- sunbed
- sun shower.
Members may book up to seven days in advance and non-members up to three days in advance.
Strood Leisure Centre
Badminton and squash may be booked online.
Members may book up to six days in advance and non-members up to three days in advance.
Unfortunately, Strood Echoes members with membership numbers not prefixed "ST" cannot book online yet. This will be rectified as soon as possible. In the meantime, bookings will continue to be taken by telephone.
The Stirling Centre
The following activities may be booked online:
- badminton,
- table tennis,
- sunbed,
- outdoor tennis courts.
Members may book up to six days in advance and non-members up to three days in advance.

Members
Members must have a valid membership card available when making a booking. Members may make bookings without payment in advance and pay the applicable fee when attending the centre. All member bookings must be paid for before using the facilities. Members must present their membership card at Reception before using the booked facility or a debt will remain on their membership account for non-attendance. Non-members playing with a member will not be able to use the facility until the member presents their card at reception.
Payment can be made on line but please note that the price quoted will not necessarily be correct for all types of membership. If the price shown is incorrect, please do not make payment at the time of booking but pay when attending the centre and the correct price will be calculated. Payment can be made using a valid credit or debit card. The Council does not accept payments using American Express or Visa Electron cards. In addition all users who are not members will be required to pay a day membership fee upon entering the centre.
Non-members
Non-members may book facilities up to three days in advance but must pay at the time of booking, using a valid credit or debit card. The Council does not accept payments using American Express or Visa Electron cards. In addition all users who are not members will be required to pay a day membership fee upon entering the centre.

Booking by telephone or in person
Members may still make bookings by telephone - please call the centre directly. To book in person, please call in at the centre of your choice.
The council's cancellation policy applies to all bookings, whether made online or directly through a centre. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before time of the session booked or you will be liable for the full hire charge. Members who book facilities and do not use the booking will also be liable for the full hire fee. Refunds of online payments can only be made on production of a valid receipt reference.
Deangate Ridge Golf Course
Members and non-members may book tee times up to six days ahead.
Members will need a valid membership card with the prefix "DG". Members in posession of an old-type card should arrange at the Pro-shop for a replacement card to be issued.
Please be aware that, due to the variation in daylight hours throughout the year, tee times may be available that would not allow you to complete your round before dark. Nine holes of golf takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, while 18 holes takes approximately 3 hours 40 minutes.
Non-members must pay for one person at the time of booking. Payment for other players then needs to be made at the Pro-shop before commencing play.
Members may make bookings without payment in advance and pay the applicable fee when attending the golf course. Members must present their membership card at the Pro-shop before commencing play or a debt will remain on their membership account for non-attendance.
When booking a tee time for one player, please note that each slot has the ability to accept up to four players. If a tee time shows less than four available, other players will be playing with you.
For two players, if a tee time shows one available, then another group of two is already playing at that time.
