Booking online

Online bookings are available for Medway Park, Stirling Centre, Strood Leisure Centre and Deangate Ridge Golf Course.

The council's cancellation policy applies to all bookings, whether made online or directly through a centre. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before time of the session booked or you will be liable for the full hire charge. Members who book facilities and do not use the booking will also be liable for the full hire fee. Refunds of online payments can only be made on production of a valid receipt reference.

Non-members will have to make an online payment when making a booking. Members can make a payment online but please note that the price quoted will not necessarily be correct for all types of membership. If the price shown is incorrect, please do not make payment at the time of booking but pay when attending the centre and the correct price will be calculated.

Payment can be made using a valid credit or debit card. The council does not accept payments using American Express or Visa Electron cards. In addition all users who are not members will be required to pay a day membership fee upon entering the centre.

Previous users should go directly to online bookings.

New users should read the information below before making a booking.

Medway Park

Members may book the following activities up to seven days in advance and non-members up to three days in advance:

  • badminton;
  • squash;
  • basketball;
  • table tennis;
  • aerobic classes.

Strood Leisure Centre

Members may book badminton and squash online up to six days in advance and non-members up to three days in advance. Soccer pitches at KICKS Soccer Centre can also be booked on line.

Strood Echoes members with membership numbers not prefixed "ST" cannot book online yet. This will be rectified as soon as possible. In the meantime, bookings will continue to be taken by telephone

Stirling Centre

Members may book the following activities up to six days in advance and non-members up to three days in advance:

  • badminton;
  • table tennis;
  • outdoor tennis courts.

Deangate Ridge Golf Course

Members and non-members may book tee times up to six days ahead.

Members will need a valid membership card with the prefix "DG". Members in possession of an old-type card should arrange at the Pro-shop for a replacement card to be issued.

Due to the variation in daylight hours throughout the year, tee times may be available that would not allow you to complete your round before dark. Nine holes of golf takes approximately one hour 50 minutes, while 18 holes takes approximately three hours 40 minutes.

Non-members must pay for one person at the time of booking. Payment for other players then needs to be made at the Pro-shop before commencing play.

Members may make bookings without payment in advance and pay the applicable fee when attending the golf course. Members must present their membership card at the Pro-shop before starting play or a debt will remain on their membership account for non-attendance.

When booking a tee time for two players, please note that each slot has the ability to accept up to four players. If a tee time shows one available, then another group of two is already playing at that time.

Deangate Ridge members may still make bookings by phone. Call the Pro-shop directly.
