Strand Leisure Park has been the favourite outdoor attraction for Medway families for many years. The park is easy to find being situated on the A289, Pier Road, Gillingham. It is well signposted from the M2 Motorway and Medway Tunnel. There is ample free parking and a frequent bus service during the summer months. Year-long attractions include: - a par three golf course;
- crazy golf;
- tennis courts;
- netball;
- five-a-side football;
- children's play areas;
- picnic areas.

Summer attractions include:
- a leisure pool with a lazy river ride - open from 23 May to 6 September;
- a children's paddling pool - open from 23 May to 6 September;
- a miniature railway - open during school holidays and weekends from Easter until September;
- a cafeteria - open daily from April to September.
Leisure Pool
In order to accomodate demand in the leisure pool, there will be two separate sessions during the day.
Opening hours for 2009 are:
Term-time (off-peak)
Monday to Friday 11am to 2pm and 2.30 to 6pm
School holidays and weekends (peak)
Daily 10am to 1.30pm and 2 to 6pm
