Directions: When heading up Dock Road towards Gillingham take the first left turning. The library is just by the public car park.

Facilities: Fax, photocopier, public access computers, disabled access, limited parking although you can also park on the road nearby.

Directions: The library is on the drive of Cuxton Infants School. From the A228 at Cuxton by the petrol station, turn into Bush Road. The school drive is the fourth turning on the left.

Facilities: Photocopiers (black and white, and colour), fax, public telephone, public toilet, quiet study room, public access computers, playstation games for hire, listening post, plasma screen, printing and scanning facilities, lift, hearing loop, disabled access, Medway Council Contact Point, freephone for council services, coffee machine, free parking just a minute's walk away.

Directions: A231 from Chatham to Gillingham High Street. The library is on the right.

Facilities: Public access computer, DVDs for hire.

Directions: In Grain village, pass the fire station on your right. The computer, library and information centre is located in The Chapel, Chapel Road.

Facilities: Fax, public access computers, street parking available.

Directions: The library is on the same site as the CP Infants School on Hempstead Road.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, car parking, disabled access.

Directions: Approaching from Strood on the A228, follow signs for Hoo St Werburgh. Pass through the village on the main road until you reach a crossroads by the Five Bells pub. Turn into Church Street. The Hoo branch is at the end of Church Street by the Church. There is parking for approximately five to six cars.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, disabled access, art exhibition area, and public car park (at rear of shops).

Lordswood Youth Centre: This is part of the library and offers a wide variety of activities for young people.

Directions: Lordswood library is located in Kestrel Road off Albermarle Road, off North Dane Way and Lordswood Lane roundabout.  

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, car park, disabled access, small local history collection.

Directions: Approaching from Chatham/Rochester on A2 at Chatham Hill fork right at Luton Arches. Proceed along Luton Road to Christchurch for approximately one mile (1.61km). Turn left at village centre by Hen and Chickens pub. The library is situated immediately behind the pub.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, upstairs reading space, disabled access to adult lending. There are two display cabinets, pay and display car park adjacent to library.

Directions: Rainham library is situated in Birling Avenue (off the A2) between the police station and the public car park.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, playstation games for hire, disabled access, easy readers collection.

Directions: Rochester library at Eastgate is located in the Adult Education Centre, just off the High Street and Corporation Street. There are several public car parks nearby.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, playstation games for hire, separate departments for children’s library and reference/local studies, public toilets, car park (10 spaces), disabled access, hearing loops, exhibition and meeting facilities.

Directions: Strood library is situated off the A2, via Gun Lane. Turn into Bryant Road. The library is halfway up Bryant Road on the right-hand side. Street parking is usually available.

Facilities: One public access computer.

Directions: The library is in Thomas Aveling School, Rochester, which is off Maidstone Road (B2097). Turn into The Tideway and then into Arethusa Road (library sign posted). Car parking is available from the Arethusa Road entrance to the school. The library car park is located at the rear of the school buildings with immediate access to a disabled ramp.

Please note: Pedestrian access from Binnacle Road, which is just off The Tideway, will be closed from mid-August 2008 until further notice.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, wheelchair access, meeting room, large free shopper's car park with disabled parking next to the library.

Directions: Twydall is sign posted at the A2/A278 roundabout into Twydall Lane. The library is in a parade of shops at Twydall Green.

Directions: When travelling to Walderslade from Chatham, the Walderslade Hook Meadow library is at the junction of Walderslade Road and King George Road opposite the Poachers Pocket pub.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, disabled access and exhibition area.

Directions: Walderslade Village library is situated in the village centre off Robin Hood Lane/Walderslade Road. The library is above the parade of shops containing Blooms the florist.

Facilities: Photocopier, fax, public access computers, car parking, disabled access, out of hours meeting facilities.

Directions: From the A2, turn into Maidstone Road (Rainham). After approximately two miles (3.22km) turn right into Fairview Avenue; the turning is signed. There is a car park.
