Medway readers' groups

The library service runs book groups for people who love reading and want to share their likes and dislikes with other people. There are 10 groups that meet across Medway.

If you would like to join one of our groups or you would like to know how we can help you set up your own group, please contact Chatham Library.

Chatham Readers
Meet at 10.30am on the third Thursday of the month at Chatham Library.

Rochester Readers
Meet at 7pm on the last Monday of the month at Rochester Library.

Gillingham readers
Meet at 10.30am on the second Tuesday of the month at Gillingham library.

Cuxton Readers
Meet at 2.30pm every four weeks on Mondays at Rochester Library, contact the library to find out the date of the next meeting.

Lordswood Readers
Meet at 10.30am on the last Thursday of the month at Lordswood Library.

Medway Poetry Readers
Meet at 7.30pm on the first Monday of the month at Strood Library.

Strood Readers
Meet at 7pm on the third Monday of the month at Strood Library.

Twydall Readers
Meet at 2pm on the third Tuesday of the month at Twydall Library.

Rainham Readers
Meet at 10.30am on the first Tuesday of the month at Rainham Library.

VIP Readers
This group is for visually-impaired people (VIP) who listen to talking books. It meets from 2 to 3pm on the last Thursday of the month at Chatham Library. Please contact Sandra at Strood Library on 01634 335890 to find out more.
