Each school played 10 matches against other schools and the placings were decided on a league table basis, including the Fair Play award. Although it was cold. damp day this didn’t stop the children playing in a friendly atmosphere and schools participated in a co-operative spirit of competition. After many close matches, Sherwin Knight Junior School just pipped Parkwood Junior School to the title. Both schools won all 10 matches they played, but Sherwin Knight just had a superior Try difference. St Andrews finished third and were also the Best Placed Small School.

The day would not have been possible without the tremendous support from the numerous volunteers. These included eight Medway Rugby Coaches who had taken annual leave from work to ref at the event and they were supported by young students from various schools across Medway.
