Recognising and celebrating sporting successes

Medway Council's Sports Development Team established the Medway Sports Awards in 2004 as Medway’s only celebration of sport covering the whole sporting community.

The awards night highlights the hard work and efforts of the local sporting community, many of whom are volunteers.

Medway Sports Development Team, University of Kent at Medway and the Medway Messenger work in partnership to stage the awards, which are supported by Greenacre School Sport Partnership, Howard School Sport Partnership and Hempstead Valley Shopping centre.

The 2008 Medway Sports Awards are fast approaching. This prestigious event is now in its fifth year and growing in size and popularity.

Why not take this opportunity to nominate volunteers, coaches, athletes, teams and clubs whose achievements during 2008 deserve an award?
