The Central Theatre is proud to announce that EastEnders star Joe Swash will star in Cinderella, North Kent’s premier pantomime this Christmas. A firm favourite with viewers, Joe will be playing the role of Buttons in the show, a role perfectly suited to the mischievous and loveable persona of his screen character Mickey Miller. He first appeared in the soap in the spring of 2003, having studied at the Anna Scher Theatre School in North London alongside fellow EastEnders actors Natalie Cassidy, James Alexandrou and Brooke Kinsella. Joe will be supported by a talented local performer from Medway, Tara Verloop, who successfully auditioned for the title role of Cinderella. An all-round performer, Tara will be singing, dancing and acting her heart out in this fabulous family favourite. Cinderella will also star David Phipps-Davis and Antony Stewart Hicks as the hilarious and over-the-top Ugly Sisters, bringing the house down with their colourful dresses and crazy antics. Popular comedy duo, Sanders and Martin, will provide the evil of the evening as the Baron and Dandini - Plenty of opportunity to boo, hiss, shout and sneer. Tickets will sell fast for this lavish production from Evolution Pantomimes - who brought the record breaking Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to The Central Theatre last year - so book early to avoid disappointment.
