The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) process

This process was successfully piloted in the Rochester and Chatham area and is now operational across the whole of Medway. The draft guidance for all staff working with children, young people and families in Medway (pdf 193KB) is available for download.

The pre-assessment checklist (pdf 37KB) and the CAF Form (pdf 199KB) referred to in this guidance can be downloaded, printed out, filled in by hand using black ink, and posted.
