Medway Maritime Hospital

Medway Maritime Hospital serves a population of 360,000 people in the Medway and Swale areas. The hospital, which is part of the Medway NHS Trust, employs around 3,000 people and has an annual budget of over £100 million.

As an associate teaching hospital of the University of London, the hospital teaches undergraduates from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine.

Medway Maritime Hospital doubled in size in 1999 with the opening of a new £60m extension.
