We have launched our Schools and Academies Funding Formula consultation which proposes a number of changes to our Local Funding Formula used to calculate annual school budgets.
This consultation is important and will affect the amount of funding a mainstream school receives in 2023 to 2024. It applies to both the 2023 to 2024 financial year for maintained schools and the 2023 and 2024 academic year for academies and free schools.
The consultation runs for just over 3 weeks and closes on Sunday 20 November 2022. We encourage all maintained schools, academies and free schools in Medway to respond to the consultation.
The consultation documentation consists of:
- a Word document which provides background and an overview of the consultation
- an Excel working illustration so you can see the impact of the proposals you select will have on your school budget
- a consultation response slip.
