The Brook Theatre, Chatham hosts a double treat for children on Saturday, 7 June, as part of the Fuse Medway Festival. Proceedings begin with a childrens tea party and continues with an award-winning children's theatre show. The double treat runs twice - at 12noon and 3pm. The tea party is a great chance for children to tuck into some hearty snacks and make new friends. Then they will be whisked into a world of colour by German company Erfreuliches Teater. The Queen of Colours mixes shadow puppetry, drawing and film. Based on the children's book by Jutta Bauer, the show charts the little queen who lives all alone in a black and white world. She calls on Mrs Courtpainter and Mr Courtmusician to bring some colour into her life. Not an easy task, as the little queen is hard to please. Tickets are £6. To book phone box office on 01634 338338, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.fusefestival.org.uk. Fuse Medway Festival is a celebration of arts and creativity in Medway. Spanning three weekends of great live performances and exhibitions, the festival includes theatre, indoors and out, cabaret, music, visual arts, dance and a hamper-full of fun for families.
