Healthcare in Medway – both now and in the future – is the subject of a new prospectus published by Medway Primary Care Trust. The booklet entitled Growing healthier: first steps sets out how the PCT will deliver key priorities and meet future healthcare needs for the people of Medway. The prospectus looks at how the PCT is delivering improved patient safety; easier to reach services; keeping adults and children healthy and reducing health inequalities; emergency planning and value for money. A key element in developing future services is patient feedback. Patients’ views make a real difference and the PCT wants to encourage residents to voice their opinions about services in Medway. Copies of the prospectus are available on the PCT’s website www.medwaypct.nhs.uk or to request a printed copy please contact Director of Commissioning Louise Parker at the PCT on 01634 382711. Alternatively you can email to request a copy to email@example.com A summary of the prospectus will be printed in the July/August of Medway Matters – the council’s residents’ magazine, which is delivered to homes throughout Medway.
