Five weeks of Friday fun begins at Rainham Shopping Centre in the High Street on 1 August. The Funtime Friday programme features family events between 11am and 3pm on Fridays throughout the summer holidays. It kicks off with a display of martial arts by the Chumkundeo group as well as a chance to listen to traditional tales with a twist recounted by a professional storyteller. Artists from Face-Off will provide face painting, while the shops throughout the shopping centre and in the High Street and Station Road offer plenty of opportunities for retail therapy.
