Residents of Darland House nursing home will be hoping it’s lucky 13 as they celebrate their thirteenth birthday on Wednesday, 30 July from midday onwards. The 40-bed nursing home celebrated its tenth birthday with a street party three years ago. This year, staff, residents, families and friends will be holding a party with food, music and a marquee in the grounds at Darland Avenue, Gillingham. Darland House is a specialist PCT nursing home for older people with mental illnesses. It was commissioned in 1994 and opened in July 1995.
