Tennis, cheerleading classes, jewellery workshops and mask making are just some of the activities on offer for children aged five to 12 this summer. Whatever the weather summer fun is guaranteed, and there’s something for everyone. The activities programme is already underway, with August promising a variety of events such as rock school for aspiring musicians, digital photography and nature inspired pond dipping and bat spotting. Young people are also catered for with a selection of sport, drama and dance events for 13 to 19 year olds. Teenagers can learn how sailing and canoeing skills, tennis and fishing tips and take part in song-writing workshops. Summer Dayz takes place from Tuesdays to Thursdays throughout August at recreation grounds across Medway. The event is aimed at eight to 18 year olds and includes art, sport and team activities.
