Temporary parking restrictions are in place in Hoo to keep traffic moving near the village. The traffic order applies to a section of the Old Ratcliffe Highway and near the BAE Sports and Social Club in Bells Lane. Motorists are advised to not park in these areas, which can be identified by traffic cones and road signs. Anyone caught parking in these restricted areas will have their vehicle removed by the police. The restrictions are likely to remain in place until Wednesday, 13 August.
