This year is the 350th anniversary of the death of Oliver Cromwell, the 17th century politician, Civil War general, and Lord Protector from 1653 to 1658. To mark the occasion, John Witheridge - a member of the Friends of Medway Archives - is organising an exhibition and talk at MALSC in September The exhibition entitled Ad Perpetuam Memoriam runs from Tuesday, 16 September to Friday, 24 October. The talk takes place on Tuesday, 30 September at 7.30pm at MALSC, Clock Tower, Civic Centre, Strood. Tickets are £4 or £3 for FOMA members. To book your place telephone 01634 332714.
