The Mayor of Medway is Cllr David Carr. The Mayoress is his wife Kirstine. The Deputy Mayor of Medway is Cllr Ted Baker and the Deputy Mayoress is his wife Sylvia. Monday, 6 10.30am: The mayor will attend the NSPCC Mid Kent, Gravesend, Medway & Swale Branch’s AGM at Pear Tree House, Gillingham. 1pm: The mayor will attend the official opening of 16 new mhs homes at Thomas Harris Close Halling, Rochester. Tuesday, 7 12noon: The mayor will attend the Mayor of Greenwich’s lunch and guided tour of the Thames Barrier. Wednesday, 8 10am: The mayor will attend the mhs homes coffee morning at Hallwood House, Kestrel Road, Lordswood. 6pm: The mayor and mayor are hosting their charity Italian and opera evening at the Corn Exchange, Rochester. The deputy mayor and mayoress will also attend this event. Thursday, 9 2pm: The mayor will be at Rivermead School for the judging of the Mayor’s Christmas card design. Friday, 10 7pm: The mayor will attend the launch of the Directors Club (Ethnic Minority Business Division) which aims to help promote ethnic minority businesses in the Thames Gateway (Kent) region. The event will be held at the Corn Exchange, Rochester. Saturday, 11 No engagements. Sunday, 12 10.30am: The mayor will attend the 22nd Annual Naval Seafarers Service at St Barbara's Garrison Church, Brompton. 3pm: The deputy mayor will attend the Chairman of Sevenoaks District Council's Annual Civic Service.
