Date: 10/10/2008           Category: Childrens Care

A parents’ group is holding a bric-a-brac sale to raise money to help people affected by miscarriage. The Aspire group, which is made up of parents who use the All Saint’s Sure Start Centre in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, has decided to hold the fund-raising event on Saturday, 18 October to establish a support group for anyone who has been affected by miscarriage. Shoppers can pick up a bargain between 12noon and 2.30pm at the All Saints Church in Magpie Hall Road. Members of the public can also drop-off donations of clothes, toys and household items at the Sure Start Centre, marked for the attention of Jo Bunn.
