Health information day for young people

A health day at Connexions aims to assist young people access the help they need from education to health and well-being issues. The event takes place during half term week on Wednesday, 29 October from 10am to 3pm at Connexions Access Point, 205-217 New Road, Chatham. A variety of organisations will be on hand including the teenage pregnancy and stop smoking teams, together with Chlamydia screening and family planning nurses. Advice will be free and confidential. A free lunch will be provided between1pm and 2pm and there will be a prize-giving at 2.45pm; everyone who attends the event will automatically be entered into the draw. Free self-testing screening packs for Chlamydia will be given out and young people will also be able to obtain free condoms. For more information please phone 01634 334343.
