The Mayor of Medway is Cllr David Carr. The Mayoress is his wife Kirstine. The Deputy Mayor of Medway is Cllr Ted Baker and the Deputy Mayoress is his wife Sylvia. Monday, 20 October 10.30am to 2.30pm. The mayor and mayoress will attend the University of Greenwich award ceremonies in London. 7pm to 9.30pm. The deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will be joining the mayor and mayoress to attend the official presentation of the Scroll & Casket, recognising the award of Honorary Freedom of Medway to the Royal Engineers. This will be in the Mayor’s Parlour, Gun Wharf. Tuesday, 21 October. 2pm to 3.30pm. The mayor is to be the returning officer at Woodlands School elections, he will be joined by the mayoress. This will take place at Woodlands School, Gillingham 7.15pm to 10.30pm. The mayor and mayoress will be at Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust Trafalgar Night Dinner at Commissioner's House, Chatham Dockyard. Wednesday, 22 October. 9.25am to 2.40pm. The mayor and mayoress will be attending the Medway Youth Parliament Annual Conference at the Corn Exchange, Rochester. 2pm to 4pm. The mayor and mayoress will be enjoying tea at Thamesview Junior School’s Harvest Tea. This will be held at Thamesview School, Bloors Lane, Rainham. 7.45pm to 10.15pm. The mayor will be attending The Lord Lieutenant of Kent’s Awards Evening in Canterbury. 7.20pm to 10pm. The deputy mayor and the deputy mayoress will be at the Mayor of Dartford Jekyll & Hyde Musical Charity Theatre Night. Thursday, 23 October. 10.45am to 3pm. The mayor and mayoress will be at the Kent Poppy Appeal Launch at County Hall, Maidstone. Friday, 24 October. 8.45am to 10am. The mayor and mayoress will be special guests at Skinner Street School’s 75th anniversary. They will attend a special assembly and the mayor will give a speech about the exciting future for the school. The mayor will then be joined by the oldest and youngest pupils at the school to plant a tree to symbolise the occasion. This will be take place at Skinner Street School, Skinner St, Gillingham. Saturday, 25 October. 12.15pm to 3pm. The mayor and mayoress will be enjoying the Royal British Legion Annual Poppy Appeal lunch. This will take place at the Royal Engineers Headquarters Mess, Gillingham. 6.45pm to 11.55pm. The mayor and mayoress will be at the Medway Towns Sea Cadets Trafalgar Dinner at the King Charles Hotel, Gillingham. Sunday, 26 October. 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The mayor and mayoress will be at the 1404 (Chatham) Air Training Corps Annual Inspection. This will take place at the TA Centre, St Margaret's Street, Rochester.
