Strood Youth Centre will be opening its doors wider than usual to showcase the range of activities and projects on offer. On Friday, 7 November, Strood Youth Centre in Montford Road, will give young people, residents and businesses the chance to meet the workers to see what activities are available. The event takes place from 6pm and 8pm. The youth centre promotes the Every Child Matters campaign, which encourages young people to achieve their full potential. The centre drives individuals to do what they really want to do and makes sure that all young people can take part in activities that are educational, developmental and fun. Community Youth Worker Tony Randall said: “Here at Strood Youth Centre we want to offer and deliver support to young people within the community with the help of various agencies. This is a chance for residents, businesses and young people who have not been to the centre before to see what we offer.” For more information please phone Tony Randall on 01634 718196.
