The Mayor of Medway is Cllr David Carr. The Mayoress is his wife Kirstine. The Deputy Mayor of Medway is Cllr Ted Baker and the Deputy Mayoress is his wife Sylvia. Monday, 3 November There are no engagements today. Tuesday, 4 November There are no engagements today. Wednesday, 5 November 10am to 12noon: The mayor will join the mayoress at her coffee morning. This will be at Gun Wharf. 12.30pm to 3pm: The mayor and mayoress will attend the launch of Medway’s Citizen Advice Bureau at the Commissioners House at the Dockyard. This event will mark a major expansion of the services offered by the Citizens Advice Bureau, enabling the bureau to meet the needs of many more Medway residents. The mayor will officially launch three new services before an invited audience. Thursday, 6 November 12noon to 1pm: The mayor and mayoress will take part in a rehearsal for Remembrance Service at Rochester Cathedral. Friday, 7 November 7pm to 1am: The mayor and mayoress will enjoy an evening of dancing at the Black Tie and Tiara Ball. This will be at the Corn Exchange, Rochester. Saturday, 8 November 10.15am to 12.30pm: The mayor, mayoress, deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will be at the Chatham Royal Marines Turning of the Page Remembrance Service. This will be at the Rochester Cathedral, followed by refreshments at Marlborough Road, Gillingham. 1.30pm to 3pm: The mayor and mayoress will attend the National Bereavement Awareness Day, which is part of the Button & Family Funeral Services Open Day. This will take place at 417 High Street, Chatham. 5pm to 7pm: The mayor and mayoress will get in to the festive spirit at the Dickens World Launch of Christmas. This will take place at Dickens World. Sunday, 9 November 9am to 9.45am: The mayor and mayoress will be at the Royal Naval Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony. This will be at the War Memorial, The Great Lines, Gillingham. 9.35am to 12noon: The deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will be at the Royal British Legion Gillingham Branch Remembrance Day Parade and Service. This will be at the Black Lion Memorial and St Mark’s Church followed by refreshments at the Royal British Legion Club, Livingstone Road, Gillingham. 10.15am to 2pm: The mayor and mayoress will be at the Royal British Legion Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade. This will be at the Guildhall and Rochester Cathedral. Afterwards they will enjoy refreshments at the Corn Exchange, Rochester.
