Jazz up the week and start tapping your feet to the Steve Waterman Quartet at The Central Theatre, Chatham, on Tuesday, 18 November. Steve Waterman is renowned as one of the top British jazz trumpet players both at home and on the international scene. He has played with jazz and cabaret artists worldwide and has a passion for jazz education. In a career that spans over 20 years, his teaching activities take him to Spain and Cuba, as well as London in his role as professor of jazz trumpet at The Royal Academy of Music. Gracing Medway to create the quartet will be John Donaldson on piano, Andy Cleyndert on bass and Clark Tracey on the drums. Tickets cost £9, or £8 for members and Friends of The Central Theatre.
