The Mayor of Medway is Cllr David Carr. The Mayoress is his wife Kirstine. The Deputy Mayor of Medway is Cllr Ted Baker and the Deputy Mayoress is his wife Sylvia Monday, 17 November There are no engagements today. Tuesday, 18 November 9.30am to 10.30am: The mayor and mayoress will attend the “Be Your Own Boss” Enterprise Week for Year 10 pupils. The mayor will be able to meet the pupils and talk to young people who have started a business in the last 12 months. This will be at the Corn Exchange in Rochester. Wednesday, 19 November 9.30 to 4pm: The mayor and mayoress will be at the University of Kent Degree Congregation Ceremonies taking place at Rochester Cathedral. 6.30pm to 8.30pm: The mayor and mayoress will attend the Chairman of Kent County Council’s Mid Kent Area Reception. This event will be at The Orangery, Turkey Mill, Maidstone. Thursday, 20 November 1.30pm to 3pm: The mayor and mayoress will be at the Medway Schools Enterprise Challenge. This will take place at the Queens Hall, Corn Exchange, Rochester. 4.15pm to 5pm: The mayor and mayoress will be at the Christmas Lights Switch On at the Central Theatre in Chatham. 5pm to 5.15: The mayor and mayoress will be attending the Energy Saving Road Show at the Gala Bingo Club, Chatham. Friday, 21 November 9.30am to 2pm: The mayor and mayoress will attend the University of Kent Degree Congregation Ceremonies. This will be at the Canterbury Cathedral. 7pm to 10.30pm: The mayor and mayoress will be at the British Red Cross Awards Dinner which will take place at Priestfield Stadium, Gillingham. 7pm to 11pm: The deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will enjoy an evening at the St Peter’s Quiz Night. This is at St Peter’s Church Hall, Hopeville Avenue, St Peters. Saturday, 22 November 10.15am to 12.3-pm: The deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will enjoy a morning at the Christmas Bazaar. This will be at the Abbeyfield Kent Society, Rogers House, Drewery Drive, Gillingham. 10.30am to 1pm: The mayor and mayoress will attend the French Prisoner of War Memorial at St George’s Centre, Chatham. 6.30pm to 12am: The mayor and mayoress will be at Deangate Ridge Golf Club’s Annual Presentation Dinner Dance. This will be at the St George Hotel, Chatham. 7.15pm to 9.30pm: The deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will enjoy an evening at the City of Rochester Symphony Orchestra Concert. This will take place at the Central Theatre, Chatham. Sunday, 23 November There are no engagements today.
