This year the song is You Gotta Be by Desree. More than 3,000 schools and 570,000 pupils have registered for the event. The sing-along will be led by Desree at the O2 in London. Music subject leader at the school Elizabeth Wintle said: “Everyone at the school is excited about taking part and we’ve been busy rehearsing.” Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services Cllr Les Wicks will be at the school for the event. He said: “This is something the children at the school can look back on in years to come and be proud they took part.” For more details about The Big Sing log on to www.bigsing.com
