The Mayor of Medway is Cllr David Carr. The Mayoress is his wife Kirstine. The Deputy Mayor of Medway is Cllr Ted Baker and the Deputy Mayoress is his wife Sylvia. Monday, 15 December 12.30pm to 1.30pm: The mayor and mayoress will meet Commodore Macdonald and Commander Waters from the Royal Navy. This will be at the Mayor’s Parlour. 2.30pm to 4pm: The mayor and mayoress will present Flo Collins with a bouquet of flowers for her 100th birthday. This will be at Marlborough House, High Street, Rainham. 7.15pm to 9.30pm: The mayor and mayoress will enjoy an evening at the Medway Towns Sea Cadets Presentation evening. The mayor will be welcomed by a general salute from the Medway Towns Sea Cadet guard, Leading Cadet Bass. The mayor will then present the sea cadets with their awards. This will be held at Collingwood Block, Khyber Rd, Gillingham. Tuesday, 16 December 6.45pm to 10.30: The mayor and mayoress will be at The Central Theatre, Chatham watching Joe Swash star in Cinderella. Wednesday, 17 December There are no engagements today. Thursday, 18 December 12noon to 2pm: The mayor and mayoress will spend the afternoon enjoying food and drink at a Christmas buffet at The Old Vicarage, Upnor Road, Lower Upnor. Friday, 19 December 7pm to 9pm: The mayor and mayoress will welcome everyone to the NHS Volunteer Carol Service at Rochester Cathedral. Saturday, 20 December 10am to 10.15am: The mayor and mayoress will attend the rehearsal of the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Rochester Cathedral. 4.15pm to 8pm: The deputy mayor and deputy mayoress will enjoy the Treasure Island at The Brook Theatre, Chatham. Sunday, 21 December 6.30pm to 8.30pm: The mayor and mayoress will attend a drinks reception at The Archdeaconry. The mayor will then do the first reading at the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Rochester Cathedral.
