Date: 01/07/2009           Category: Events

Following the success of last year’s free concert at Rochester Castle Gardens, more talented young people from Medway will perform in the second Under Siege event on the afternoon of Sunday, 19 July. The event follows the Castle Concerts, offering young people aged between 13 and 18 the chance to follow in the footsteps of McFly, Jools Holland & his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, The Counterfeit Stones and The Castle Proms. All the acts will be able to perform on the same full-sized stage, with professional equipment and the support of an experienced crew. The concert is being organised by Medway Council in partnership with Mid Kent College, Training Them Live and Youth of Generation Gigs. Please join us at Rochester Castle on Monday, 6 July at 4.30pm when the full line-up of this year’s Under Siege concert will be announced.
