The media are invited to an extravaganza of autumnal activities taking place at Gun Lane Children’s Centre next Tuesday, 27 October, 1.30 to 3pm. Children will be donning their Wellington boots and heading outdoors for a messy afternoon of welly printing, arts and crafts, and leaf crunching. They will also be getting creative by making a scarecrow in the garden of the centre, based on Gun Lane, Strood. The afternoon of fun will be topped off by hot chocolate and marshmallow dunking.
