Date: 19/05/2010           Category: Childrens Care

It’s party time at Kingfisher Children’s Centre tomorrow as the centre hosts an extra special celebration for children turning one this year. The birthday celebrations will take place tomorrow (Thursday) between 1.30 and 3pm, and will include party games, activities and healthy snacks. While all the fun is going on, parents will be able to meet health visitors from the centre and get advice and tips as well as free health checks for their children. Sarah Adams, who is co - ordinating the event said: "This is a great chance for us to celebrate a milestone birthday for the children and their families. It will also give parents and carers the chance to get to know their local health visitor and the staff at the centre." The centre is based at Kingfisher Primary School, Kingfisher Drive, Walderslade, ME5 7NN. For more information call the centre on: 01634 335850.
