Award winning stand up comic Miles Jupp will headline the next Medway Comedy Club at The Brook Theatre, Chatham, on Monday, 7 March.
A favourite on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Mock the Week and The Thick of It, Miles is back on the road following a critically acclaimed and sell out run at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year.
Miles started performing stand up in Scotland in 2000 and the following year won both So You Think You’re Funny and The Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year. As an actor he has also appeared in the feature films Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, Death Defying Acts, and Is Anybody There?
On Radio Miles is a regular to the BBC Radio 4’s News Quiz and has contributed to a number of other Radio 4 shows such as Loose Ends, Quote Unquote, The Vote Now Show and Arthur Smith’s Balham Bash, as well as his own series for the station Miles Jupp’s Real World.
In his latest stage show, Fibber in the Heat, Miles will bring to life a sorry tale of how he tried to become a cricket journalist by pretending to be one.
Medway Comedy Club starts at 8pm and is strictly for over 18s. Tickets cost £12, Medway Comedy Club mailing list members £11, and are available by calling the box office on 01634 338338 or online at www.thebrooktheatre.co.uk
