Nominate a young person for an award

Nominations are now open for the Try Angle awards – celebrating the achievements of Medway’s young people.

The Try Angle Awards recognise the hard work and commitment of both individuals and groups of young people aged 10 – 18 years old. The awards fall into the following 10 categories:

Bravery
The Arts
Music
Sports
Changemakers
Positive Media Image
Personal Development
Good Friends and Young Carers
Citizenship and Environment
Service to the Community

If you know a young person who deserves an award, you have until Saturday, 30 April to make your nominations online at www.mixitonline.co.uk

Alternatively, you can phone Medway Youth Parliament on 01634 338748 or email Medway_Youth_Parliament@hotmail.com and ask for a nomination form.

The judges are not just looking for high achievers, but also young people who have tried their best, shown commitment and determination or have overcome difficulties.

Nominations can be made in any of the categories. If you want to nominate a young person for more than one category, please complete a form for each category.

The Try Angle Awards are organised and run by the Medway Youth Parliament for young people in Medway.

This years awards will take place on Tuesday, 28 June at the Central Theatre, Chatham, when all young people nominated will be invited to celebrate their recognition and the winners will be announced.
