Get cycling, walking and exploring in the great outdoors this summer at Capstone Country Park.
Among other things, the country park boasts a mountain bike track, three other cycle routes and four walking routes that are all free to use. In addition to this, there is also 4.5km of bridleway for horse riders to use free of charge.
The mountain bike trail offers keen mountain bikers the chance to try out some big hills and ramps on a relatively short track.
Mountain bikers who want to test their skills should head down to the park on Sunday, 28 August from 8.45am to 9.30am, for a skills session.
Members of the media are welcome to attend.
Mountain bikers will be encouraged to ride around the trail with the aim of bettering their lap time with every turn. The session costs £1 per person and booking is essential. Phone 01634 338191.
Keep fit and enjoy some fresh air at the same time on Capstone Park’s Trim Trail.
