2012 promises to be an exciting year of celebrations and to ensure Medway residents don’t miss a moment of fun, a special pull out magazine has been created.
The January / February issue of Medway Matters, which is delivered to households from Monday, 23 January, will include the first of a series of supplements packed full of events taking place over the coming months.
As part of Medway Council’s Medway 2012: Year of Celebration, the special pull-out supplement will detail everything residents need to know to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Included in the What’s On supplement are special events organised to celebrate the bicentenary of Charles Dickens, Medway Council’s Castle Concerts, library, sporting and outdoors events, and theatre listings for Medway’s two theatres – The Central Theatre and The Brook Theatre both based in Chatham.
The What’s On supplement will also include essential dates for the London 2012 Games from the arrival of the Olympic torch replay on 20 July to the final Medway Mile run a week later through Rochester, coinciding with the start of the Games.
