Popular French painter Toulouse-Lautrec is the subject of an illustrated talk in Chatham later this month (April).
Art historian Martin Heard will bring to life bohemian Paris in the 1890s and the world of cafés, dance halls, and the popular entertainment of fin-de-siècle Paris, particularly Montmartre.
Like a celebrity photographer, Toulouse-Lautrec not only recorded this lifestyle but he also became an active part of this Parisian world himself.
Toulouse-Lautrec and Bohemian Paris illustrated talk is on Tuesday, 24 April at 7.30pm at Chatham Community Hub.
Booking is essential by phoning 01634 337799.
