All Saints Sure Start Children’s Centre in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, is planning a fun-packed day and evening of fun to raise money for next week’s Children in Need. On Friday, 16 November staff and visitors will dress up for the day for the annual BBC appeal. Children will be able to decorate their own Pudsey Bear and make a Pudsey eye patch in the Playlink session from 9am to 12noon. From 10am to 11am parents and children can make Pudsey cakes and cookies in the café. The fun continues in the evening when the centre’s parent reps, ASPIRE, will pit their wits against each other in a quiz. There will also be a game of bingo and raffle to keep the money rolling in. Community Development Officer Jo Bunn said: “We will have plenty of buckets available at the centre for donations and hope that by having a jam- packed day of themed activities will encourage families and visitors to the centre to have a fun and exciting time and also donate some money too.” All of the activities and services are for families with children from birth to five years.
