Waffles, croissants, oak cakes, kedgeree and granola will be on the menu at an international breakfast morning in Chatham next week. Families who use the All Saints Sure Start Children’s Centre are being invited to sample the tasty treats from Mexico, Russia, France, America and Britain on Tuesday, 22 January. Breakfast will be served at two sittings - 8.15am and 9.15am. The cost is £1.20 for adults and 60p for children. The event has been organised to coincide with national Farmhouse Breakfast Week to highlight the importance of breakfast. Community Development Co-ordinator Jo Bunn said: “We hope that families will come along for breakfast before dropping the children off at school. We want to encourage as many people as possible to have a lovely breakfast and get the best possible start to their day.” There will also be recipe ideas for parents to take with them and try at home. If you would like to book a place or would like more information, please call 01634 338833. The centre is in Magpie Hall Road.
