Health messages highlighted at shopping centre

Date: 05/02/2008           Category: Medway PCT

On Saturday, 16 February, staff from Medway Primary Care Trust will be manning a stall at the Pentagon Shopping Centre, Chatham to highlight some key healthcare messages. The aim is to raise public awareness of the End Waiting Change Lives programme (which means if you are referred by a GP you will be treated and discharged within 18 weeks), patient choice (free choice comes into force from 1 April 2008 and means patients can choose to be treated at any hospital in the UK) and the Choose and Book GP booking system. The team will also be at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre on Saturday, 5 April.
