Medway Mayor to welcome old and new High Sheriffs

Medway Mayor Cllr Val Goulden will be hosting a rare visit by not one but two High Sheriffs of Kent at the Commissioner's House in Chatham this Friday (March 14). The lunch is due to be attended by the incoming High Sheriff of Kent elect Mr. Mr Richard Oldfield as well as the current High Sheriff Mr Nigel Wheeler. Medway's newly announced Mayor elect Cllr David Carr is also due to be there. Also invited to the lunch are Her Majesty’s Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Kent Mr John Spence OBE DL and representatives from Medway's business community, the emergency services, the courts, education system and the Royal School of Military Engineering.
