Smokers who are looking to quit can get help and advice this Wednesday, 12 March, at a drop-in session in Chatham. Staff at the All Saint’s Sure Start Children’s Centre in Magpie Hall Road are joining forces with Medway Primary Care Trust to encourage smokers to quit on national No Smoking Day. An estimated one million people are expected to stub out their cigarettes for good on this day. Visitors can sign-up to a seven-week smoking cessation course, find out about the different treatment options such as patches and gum, and details of drop-ins and one-to-one sessions. Medway Stop Smoking Service will also be at the Pentagon Shopping Centre from 9am to 3.30pm on National No Smoking Day Wednesday, 12 March. Contact your local Medway Stop Smoking Service on freephone 0800 234 6805.
