Shoppers pick up health tips at the supermarket

Date: 26/03/2008           Category: Medway PCT

On Saturday, 5 April staff from Medway Primary Care Trust will be at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham to highlight some key healthcare messages. The aim is to raise public awareness of the End Waiting Change Lives programme (which means if you are referred by a GP you will be treated and discharged within 18 weeks), patient choice (free choice comes into force from 1 April 2008 and means patients can choose to be treated at any hospital in the UK) and the Choose and Book GP booking system.
