Celebrated jazz saxophonist Clare Hirst brings her quartet to The Brook Theatre, Chatham on Tuesday, 8 April, 8pm. Clare's influences range from Sonny Rollins and Cannonball Adderley to salsa, reggae and jazz. She is also mainly self-taught, which brings an original approach to her compositions and performances. Her early career was in the pop world and she has written and recorded with David Bowie, The Communards, Mica Paris and Bellestars. Tickets are £9, jazz mailing list members £8.
