Performance
Throughout the year there are opportunities to enjoy a
variety of performances organised by and in partnership with Medway
Council Arts Team.
As You Like it
You can enjoy charming open-air Shakespeare productions with a
picnic under the stars:
This summer Changeling Theatre will
bring their open air production of As You Like It
to:
- Fort Amherst on Thursday, 28 June and
- Upnor Castle on Wednesday, 11 and Thursday, 12 July.
Kids Cabaret of Curiosities
You can also enjoy a range of madcap and fun children’s
theatre shows, tailor-made for younger audiences by companies such
as Dizzy O’Dare Presents
with their Kids' Cabaret of Curiosities.
Special projects
Our special projects for young people and term time workshops
often conclude with performances of ‘home-grown’ shows which are
open to the general public.
Fuse Medway Festival
Audiences can enjoy more challenging, though-provoking
performances in unusual places, such as specially-commissioned
performances by local artists and companies or internationally
acclaimed performances as part of the Fuse
Medway Festival.
