Coming to Fuse Medway Festival on Saturday, 16 June 2012

Barricade is an outdoor circus performance, delivered by No Fit State Circus, with breathtaking aerial and acrobatic skills, sparkling pyrotechnics and live music.

Medway Council's Arts Development Team has been offering free circus activities throughout 2011/12, thanks to funding and partnership National Lottery through Arts Council England and Fuse Medway Festival (Medway Council) and ZEPA (European Zone of Artistic Projects), a network of nine English and French organisations dedicated to developing transnational street entertainment for everyone, supported by INTERREG 1V A France (Channel) - England Programme.

These free activities are delivered by local circus professionals Dizzy O’Dare Presents and include:

  • holiday workshops and art and craft sessions in libraries and other venues across Medway
  • the Brook Circus School at the Brook Theatre.
