Whether you want to learn to swim, join a fitness class, battle it out on a squash court or just play a round of golf, you can do it in Medway.

Medway's leisure centres

Free swimming

Free swimming will be available at all five of the council’s leisure centres for under-11s and over-60s living in Medway during normal opening times. Club sessions etc are not included.
To take up the offer, residents will need proof that they live in Medway and will be able to do this with a free Medway City Card.

The card – Medway Council’s discount card for local shops – is being used as it is the cheapest and easiest way to start free swimming as quickly as possible.

All under-11s and those over-60 will need the card to take part in free swimming and can get one for free by applying for it online at www.medwaycitycard.co.uk/, or by completing a form available from leisure centres.

For information about children's activities, such as holiday events and children's clubs, please contact your local leisure centre. If you would like to become a helper at a holiday club, contact the service manager at the club of your choice.
