Birthday parties
Give your child a memorable birthday treat at Medway Leisure
Centres.
You won't have to worry about invitations, goody bags or
balloons. That's all part of the package. And you can even relax
and enjoy the fun too as there will be fully-trained party hosts to
supervise the festivities.
Strood
Leisure Centre and the Stirling Centre provide both a cold menu - a
variety of sandwiches, pizza, crisps, assorted biscuits, ice cream
and sauce - and a hot menu - pizza, pork sausages, chicken shapes,
burger in a bap served with served with beans and potato shapes or
chips, followed by ice cream.
Or you can bring your own food.
Your child is special, so make their birthday extra special with
tailor-made parties, combining different
activities for your child’s birthday. Ask staff at the centres
listed here what they can offer.
Sandy’s soft play cavern
The soft play area at Strood Leisure Centre is ideal for parties. Play
in the ball pools, climb through three different levels of fun to
take a ride down the spiral tube slide. Enjoy the party atmosphere
with the disco lights. All the children require is comfortable
clothing, socks and lots of energy. All children must be less than
10 years old and less than 4 feet 9 inches (145cm) tall.
Pool parties
Pool parties at The Hundred of Hoo Leisure Centre and Strood Leisure
Centre are held in shallow water and include play equipment for
maximum fun. Fully qualified lifeguards supervise pool parties to
ensure everybody has an enjoyable and safe time. The time to change
is included in the activity time. Time restrictions may apply.
Splashes
Leisure Centre also offers fun pool parties.
Football parties
Football parties are the ideal opportunity to have fun while
playing sport. Set up a World Cup or FA Cup Final between your
favourite teams and create the excitement of the real competition.
Impress the party host with the silliest goal celebration. We’ve
seen a few. Each party host has their favourite way to play. These
parties take place at Strood Leisure Centre and the Stirling
Centre.
Roller skating parties
Roller skating parties at the Stirling Centre are ideal for the party
with a difference and are unique to Stirling Centre. There is the
option to skate with music or have a full roller disco with music
and lighting effects. Games like tag can also be organised by the
party host. Children can wear their own skates or they can be
supplied. Roller-skating is not suitable for those under six years
of age.
Tots' time parties
Tots' time parties are quite an adventure for the under-fives.
There is a lot of equipment to climb on, jump off and ride on. All
equipment is heavily matted to ensure a safe time is had by all.
These parties take place at Strood Leisure Centre and the Stirling
Centre.
Bouncy castle parties
Jump, giggle and bounce on well-maintained bouncy castles. Burn
up all that extra energy. Please note: For health and safety
reasons, shoes and sharp objects, such as jewellery, must be
removed but socks are essential. Some age and number restrictions
may apply. This will be at the discretion of the party host. These
parties take place at Strood Leisure Centre, Stirling
Centre.
Ball games parties
This is an alternative to the football party. The party host at
Strood
Leisure Centre will adapt or introduce new games to the
children, such as basketball, benchball, dodgeball and crab
football. If you have any games you would particularly like to
play, please let the centre know and the party host will be happy
to supervise them.
For information on prices, availability and an application form,
please contact the centres directly.
