Medway Libraries are working hard to provide services that meet the needs of everybody who lives, works or studies in Medway.  With this is mind we are reviewing our magazine and periodical service and would like your help. Please could you take a few minutes to fill in our magazine and periodical survey.

National Libraries Day 2012 special offer

National Libraries Day 2012 LogoSchools booking a visit to a Medway library in January or February 2012 will be entered into a prize draw to win a visit with top children's author Tom Palmer. Tom is the author of Foul Play, Dead Ball and the Football Academy series.

Two lucky schools will get the opportunity to meet Tom in the library where he will talk about his books and offer a book signing session.

Get the latest news about book awards and prizes. Find out about books in other languages and books with an LGBTQ theme.  Local authors are published on the customer's own page. There is also some surplus stock for sale.

Library staff are always happy to give advice to help children and young people choose which books to read. Find out about activities for children and what the library can offer for parents, carers, teachers and early years professionals.

 

Computers and online resources

Online resources are available free; some from the comfort of your own home. Great for general interest, homework and study.
