Notice of improvement works
Gillingham library will be undergoing major building works,
starting Monday, 27 February 2012 and lasting for
approximately 6 weeks. The library will remain open but
some some areas will have limited access during this
time. We apologise for any inconvienance.
Facilities include:
- photocopiers (black and white and colour);
- fax;
- a quiet study room;
- free public access
computers;
- plasma screens;
- printing and scanning facilities;
- a lift;
- a hearing loop;
- disabled access;
- payment by credit and debit card

- public car parking is just a minute's walk away.

- graphic novels;
- quick
reads;
- DVDs and Blu-ray
discs;
- console games (Wii,
XBox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo DS);

- books in large print;
- books in languages other than English;
- language courses on CD;
- free three-week loan of energy meters.
Additional services
We supply recycling bags, dog poop bags, issue visitor's
parking vouchers; and we sell memory sticks and earbud
headphones.
